We now approach the end of 2020. Globally, 2020 has been a year of changes, uncertainties and losses for many of us. We have had devastating bushfires and extreme floods, and we are now living through a pandemic. To ensure safety and rebuild communities, effective communication is of utmost importance. We need to be clear in our messages both within organisations and messages going out to our communities.

Our thoughts go out to those who have been affected by these unprecedented events. We also convey our immense gratitude to the rural fire service volunteers, healthcare workers and government regulatory bodies around Australia who have been on the front line working to save properties/bushland and contain this coronavirus.

This festive season and the new year are a time to be with our families and friends – where possible within our current travel restrictions. We hope that you can take this time to reconnect (even online), reset mindsets and recharge for a safe and successful 2021.
